The essence of kitepunk, as I imagine it. Simple, a little slap-dash, and eye-opening as to possibilities. I can’t judge whether it’s efficient, or in any way useful, but dang if it isn’t cool.
Compressed air particularly appeals to me as an alternative to batteries. Manufacturing airtight vessels and seals isn’t exactly primitive tech, but it’s easier than battery chemistry.
Also, props to the videographer for so succinctly summarizing how the setup works in only 12 seconds of video.
